Good joinery is the key to the longevity of a piece of furniture. Traditional joinery does not necessarily mean traditional design. Traditional joinery means accurately fitting joints, understanding of the importance of wood grain direction and seasonal movement.

Accurate, traditional joinery is dependent on both machining and hand-fitting joints. The main difference between my joinery and factory-made furniture is time: Time to choose the best wood and grain; Time to produce the appropriate joinery for a particular situation; Time to make the joinery well-fitting and beautiful.
